My Approach to Photography
As a wedding photographer, I try to be emotionally tuned in to the people and the surroundings. I work as hard as I can and imagine that the client is a family member or a good friend. My goal is to document the wedding day, and make sure that the love and the emotions that are experienced during this special day are captured in the photos.
If I were to describe my style of wedding photography it would closest resemble photojournalism. As the day unfolds, I photograph what arises naturally and organically and focus on the details as well as make sure to get the overall feeling of this special event.
My approach is non intrusive and I do my best to integrate into the event, that way I can take candid shots that truly reflect the wedding day. I take the time to photograph details as well as make sure that the overall feel of the event is captured.
I talk to the bride and groom ahead of time to ensure that they are comfortable with me on such a big event. I usually recommend an engagement session for the bride and groom that way they get to know me and I get to know them in a casual way.

Once I get all the photos, I then enhance them in a digital darkroom. At this phase I look at each photo and make sure that all the colors are correct and implement a variety of techniques that turn the images into photos that not only look good, but also feel good.
